Nasal corrections and nasal aesthetic operations are the most common surgical interventions. The reason for this is the undeniable effect of the nose on the beauty of the face. Anyone who is over 18 years old and has not had a diagnosis of a serious chronic illness can have a nose correction done. In patients with breathing difficulties, it is possible to both relax the airways and achieve a beautiful nose shape with a single operation. Revision operations can be performed on patients who have previously been operated on but are dissatisfied in order to achieve the desired result.

Before the nasal aesthetic surgery

In the case of planned nose correction operations, the desired image can be planned together with the patient before the procedure. In this way it is possible for us to see and evaluate specifically what suits you and what your nose will look like after the procedure.

Eating, drinking and smoking should be stopped at least 6 hours before the operation. Before the operation begins, the patient is prepared for the operation in his room and, together with our team, is taken to the operating room. The operation takes place under general anesthesia.

Methods of nasal surgery

Nasal operations can be performed with the open as well as the closed method. In the closed method, there are only seams in the nose. In open surgery, there are sutures on the skin in a small area on the tip of the nose. However, these sutures do not leave scars. In general, the nose is formed by working on cartilage and bones. Important factors besides a beautiful nose are of course that the patient does not have breathing problems and that the shape of the nose maintains the desired shape over the long term. Bruising and swelling after a nose operation are very rare. The reason for this positive development are the short operation times and the innovative technology. With an operation that lasts longer than 2 hours, the possibility of swelling and bruising increases.

After operation

At the end of the operation, thermoplastic splints are placed on the bridge of the nose and channel splints made of silicone in the nostrils. All splints will be removed after one week. It is normal for the tip of the nose and the root of the nose to swell on day 7. This swelling will no longer be uncomfortable within 2 weeks. Within the next few weeks, the swelling will completely decrease and the nose will slowly begin to get its real shape.

Patients are recommended to do small massages on the nose which should be done for 2-6 weeks. In the end, the desired result is achieved and your dream nose was not that far away. As a Rhinoplasty Special Clinic, you are welcome to contact us at any time.
